On Saturday morning, March 19th, the Lynhaven Neighborhood Association and Village Harvest picked 3,341 lbs of fruit for donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank. It is estimated that this amount of fruit will be distributed to 1,000 people.
Thank you so much to the 21 homes that participated, and to LNA volunteers Patricia Kelner, Rick Larson, Clark Leakins, Tony Madieros, and Dannette Tucker. Together we helped clear the neighborhood of excess fruit, and provided healthy food for those in our larger community who need it. Well done!
